Part of the Xbox celebration that took place overnight was the reveal of the teaser trailer below for Halo, the TV Series.

While it is short, it does list a 2022 release on Paramount Plus, which is available in Australia, so that should mean we get it no issues, of course assuming it is released.

This isn’t the first attempt at a live action adaptation of Halo, with mega directors Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson attached at one point to do their own versions.

We have had a number of short form series, with the first one being Halo: Landfall back in 2007, which was directed by Neill Blomkamp, with the visual and practical effects done by Weta Digital.

This latest show stars Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief and Natascha McElhone as Dr. Catherine Halsey, along with additional cast members and to give it a true authentic feel, Jen Taylor will be in the show, providing the voice of Cortana once again.

Strangely, the show is being produced by Spielberg, meaning it may have taken 15+ years, but the man will finally see his live action Halo come true.
