The beta for Battlefield 2042 is taking place next week

After being delayed a few weeks, Battlefield 2042 also delayed their plans for the games beta and while the dates were never announced, it still was a sad update. Today though, EA and DICE have announced that the beta will take place next week, check out the trailer for it below.

The beta will offer up one game mode and one map, giving you a lot of time to enjoy that, before the game is released this November.

Players will get to enjoy Conquest, a staple of Battlefield and the map is Orbital, that is the one with the giant rocket that may or may not take off, depending on your teams actions in the map. Alongside the mode and map, we know that four specialists will be playable, giving you a chance to sample a few of them, the list of who is playable is the same as the only ones we know of.

As for when, the beta period will run from October 6 at 6pm AEDT, as Daylight Savings Time will kick in for some states and run until October 9. Access on the first two days will be available to those who have pre-ordered the game, or who are EA Play members, with general availability happening on October 8. Pre-load of the beta will be available starting on October 5th.
