Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is heading to Hong Kong in 2022

It has been a year since we learnt that a new Test Drive Unlimited game was coming, with Solar Crown and now we know where players will get to race, Hong Kong Island, check out the new trailer below.

One of the new hooks in this version of Test Drive Unlimited is that you need to chose a clan, the Sharps or Streets, with each having their own way of viewing the world, here is a little about each.

The Sharps consider themselves an elite class and are characterised by a distinct love of sophistication and classic luxury. As traditionalists, they scorn the extravagance of the Streets and their perceived lack of maturity. The Sharps represent this "high society" in an elegant and contemporary style.

The Streets do not want to blend in with the crowd and are certainly not shy about proving it. For them, success is synonymous with making an impression and going against the grain. Provocative and sometimes extremely so, they mock the Sharps' traditional and conservative ways.

As the trailer shows, Hong Kong Island is the location of the Solar Crown event, the organisers selected it because Hong Kong is a city with many faces. As both an urban jungle and natural jungle, Hong Kong is the ideal playground to settle the disputes between the Sharps and the Streets. The modern and technology-leading city of Hong Kong is also one of Asia's symbols of luxury where the world's most incredible street racing cars can be found.

As for when you can burn rubber around the streets of Hong Kong, that won’t happen until September 2022, but when it does happen, it will hit all the consoles and PC, so Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Switch, Xbox One and PlayStation 4
