Super MagBot is offering up a demo today
Team17 and developer Astral Pixel have announced that MagBot, their upcoming puzzle platformer, with magnets, now has a demo out for PC, giving players a chance to experience the game for themselves.
The magnets might sound like a gimmick, but are important to the game, because your character can’t jump, but instead will use magnets to compensate for it.
The demo provides a taste of the challenging platforming set to feature in the full game later this year, where global leaderboards will be present for players to compete and post their best times. The most talented players can also collect more more difficult Star Fragments hidden in tricky locations in each level too, providing an extra layer of challenge. These colourful 16-bit worlds also hide additional secrets to uncover as Magbot unravels the intergalactic mysteries of the adventure.
With 15 levels you can play and a sample of much harder levels, restricted by time, there is plenty to enjoy in this demo. The full game is coming to PC later in 2021.
