Stray is set to meow to release this July for both PlayStation consoles and PC

It has been a while since we have seen anything on Stray and it seems that time was well spent, as the game now has a release date. With the game coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on July 19, check out the new trailer for the game below.

In Stray, players take the role of a stray cat who must untangle an ancient mystery to escape a long-forgotten cybercity amidst the detailed neon-lit alleys and the murky environments of its seedy underbelly. Along the way, the cat befriends a small flying drone, known only as B12. With the help of this newfound companion, the duo must find a way out.

The game is also the first, or at least one of the first to launch into the PlayStation Plus Extra tiers, meaning if you are a Premium or Deluxe member, you can play the game as part of that membership, no free trial, no lite version, just the full and complete game.

Swann Martin-Raget, Producer from BlueTwelve Studio took to the PlayStation Blog to talk about the game, including how much research they had to do, in order to ensure that the cat animations were purrfect.

Head on over to the PlayStation Blog to read all about it and get ready to explore a new world on July 19.
