State of Decay 2 is getting a random, yet meaty update today

State of Decay 2 has been around for about 5 years now and the sequel is already in the works, though it has been absent since its reveal, but that is another story. The second game in the series has been without any new content or changes for quite a while, until now as a new update called Curveballs has gone live.

Being developed by Wushu Studios, not Undead Labs, the new update is designed for players who have been investing a lot of time into the game. The group have not just made a single update, they are basically going to take over content development, which again for a game that is 5 years old, is kind of mental. But what is Curveball?

As you can see in the image below, Curveballs are modifiers for the game, some of them might help you out with extra loot and others might buff zombies above their normal levels.

The Xbox Wire has a more complex breakdown of what is included, but you can also check out an upcoming stream to learn more, or check out the video below to learn a little extra.
