Star Wars double packs are bringing classic games to local retail stores

When Aspyr started to bring classic Star Wars games to Switch and PlayStation 4, they partnered with Limited Run Games to create physical releases, turns out now, you needn’t have bothered as they are coming to stores soon anyway.

Listings up popped up at JB Hifi for double packs of Star Wars Episode 1 Racer and Republic Commando, along with Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast and Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.

Both sets are hitting both PlayStation 4 and Switch and coming on November 16, with JB HiFi asking for $49 for each set. This is a much better deal than what Limited Run Games were asking, as they wanted $29.95 USD for each game, plus international shipping.

You can order the Racer & Commando pack on PlayStation 4 here, and here for Switch, where as the Jedi Knight doubles can be found here for PlayStation 4 and here for Switch.

No word on why they are coming here now, but given the THQ Nordic parent company bought Aspyr, they likely considered it to be easy money.
