Splatoon Raiders has been announced for Nintendo Switch 2
In a move that came out of nowhere, Nintendo have announced a new spin-off game from the Splatoon series, called Splatoon Raiders and its exclusive for Switch 2. This new game will put players in control of a new character called the Mechanic and send them off on a new adventure.
Details on the game are very scarce, but you won’t be alone with the adventure as Deep Cut will come along, yes that means Frye, Shiver and Big Man. While the characters are the same from Splatoon 3, they are now sporting some new outfits, which I am sure people will love. The games setting is the new Spirhalite Islands, which has never been seen in the series before.
We have a few screens from the new game, as well as some character artwork, but that is really it.
The new character shown below is just known as The Mechanic, at least for now and is a male character. The new looks for Deep Cut are in the other artwork.
There is no release date for Splatoon Raiders, but I imagine it will be later this year, maybe we will find out at the next Nintendo Direct, whenever that is.
