Save your game world when Yerba Buena arrives this May

Focus Entertainment and developer Mad About Pandas have announced a brand new puzzle platformer, Yerba Buena, a game where you take control of Barb, a character who knows they are a NPC from within a game world, but they must step up to save their world with the help of the Oscillator. Check out the reveal trailer for the game below.

When Barb’s beloved city of San Francisco is under threat from a sinister plot, she must take up the Oscillator and fight to save it. This is done by mastering the games ground-breaking “Copy and Paste” mechanic and, which you can use alongside the ability to manipulate the gameworld by applying the movement and physical traits of objects onto others. Give a table the bounce of a trampoline, send entire buildings across city blocks or turn solid walls into thin air!

The world itself is inspired by 1970’s San Francisco, but among the bright buildings and open roads are a number of gangs and other enemies, some of which have superpowers. While you deal with them, you will have to discover why your world is under attack and then work out how to save it.

The game is launching on May 26 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S
