Resident Evil Re:Verse is set to launch next week, giving Capcom another attempt at multiplayer

During the recent Resident Evil Showcase, Capcom announced that they were set to launch Resident Evil Re:Verse next week on October 28th, with owners of Resident Evil Village now, able to get in late Monday night.

The game will support cross-play out of the gate, meaning that if your friends are on different platforms, you can still play together.

While the launch is this week, it is just the start as Capcom have plans to support the game, releasing the below infographic to show the current content plan, though there are no dates as to when those updates will arrive.

This is of course, the most recent attempt by the company to make a multiplayer title in the world of Resident Evil, so only time will tell if its going to stick.

The game is free for all owners of Resident Evil Village or Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, when that launches later this week. Switch owners however are excluded as the Cloud Edition of Village does not come with this game.
