Replaced finally gets a release date, coming this March
Thunderful and developer Sad Cat Studios have announced that Replaced finally has a release date, with the game coming to PC and Xbox Series X|S on March 12, 2026. In celebration of this, they have a new trailer, check it out.
The game is going to offer a story that is slightly different to what you might be expecting, as you are an AI. Specifically you are R.E.A.C.H. and you have found yourself forced into a human body and you will now have to uncover the secrets of the Phoenix Corporation, in order to learn what happened to you.
As this is an action platform, which mostly takes place on a 2D plain, players will need to run, climb, and fight through crumbling districts, industrial wastelands, and neon-lit alleys with fluid movement and fast, responsive combat. Chain precise melee strikes with satisfying ranged attacks to take down enemies in high-intensity encounters while keeping the flow of exploration.
