Rainbow Six Mobile is bringing the Siege experience to players this February

Ubisoft have announced that after years of waiting, Rainbow Six Mobile will arrive for all players on iOS and Android this February 23. Check out the new trailer for the game below.

Development of the game was led by the Montreal group, but the Winnipeg, Halifax, Bucharest and Chengdu studios also provided assistance. The game is not a port of the Siege experience, but rather a custom built version for mobile devices, which means everything is made for that form factor.

There are a few key points that Ubisoft are calling out, they are:

  • Game modes: Bomb, Bomb Rush, Team Deathmatch

  • Access to more than 20 operators, including Ash, Mute, Dokkaebi and more

  • Iconic maps, including Bank, Border, Clubhouse, Oregon, Villa, as well as Restaurant and Summit – new maps exclusive to mobile

  • The onboarding tutorial, which focuses on key Rainbow Six fundamentals

  • Private matches, Ranked matches and Quick Play

  • With new content being added each season

The game has been soft launched in some countries, but those here in Australia will need to wait for the full release in February.
