Railway Empire 2 adds two highly requested features for its upcoming release

Kalypso Media have announced that when Railway Empire 2 departs the station later this year, fans will have two additional platforms and the ability to play with mates, thanks to cross-play.

Yes, it has been confirmed that players on select platforms, can team up with fellow tycoons with all-new cooperative multiplayer mode for up to four players. The platforms are all of them except Switch, so Nintendo fans are on their own here.

The platforms that are included are PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but now include PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as those have been added to the games release schedule.

What that means is that when the game releases, it will now come to all consoles and PC, with Xbox owners able to pick up the game via Game Pass as a day one release.

With huge and detailed game world covering the whole of the USA and Europe in one single map each, not on Switch though, as well as more detailed regional maps with more than 300 towns spread all over the US and Europe, there will be plenty of space to build the empire of your dreams.
