Project Motor Sport is racing to release later this year

Giants Software and developer Straight4 Studios have announced Project Motor Racing, which is set to hit the track later this year, check out the trailer for this new racing sim game.

From sim racers to first-time racers, Project Motor Racing boasts game modes for everyone: from Single Player Career Mode to in-depth Online Racing, from fun leaderboards to packed Full Race Weekends.

An immersive racing experience will put drivers into the cauldron of a racing cockpit with visible G forces, heat-haze, braking forces, and dirt, alongside sound design that captures motor racing’s true ferocity. “True2Track” will allow racers to experience the authenticity of every track with dynamic weather conditions, adaptive racing & drying line, and a 24-hour day/night cycle.

This is the next gear for GIANTS Software: Moving forward, we will be recognized not only as the creators of Farming Simulator but also as the publisher of Project Motor Racing. Our strong collaboration with Straight4 gives me full confidence that we’ll deliver an exceptional experience for all sim racing enthusiasts!
— Christian Ammann, CEO at GIANTS Software

Project Motor Racing will also feature sim racing’s newest physics engine, built from the ground up. Running on the GIANTS game engine, it delivers unmatched handling realism at 720Hz, with more natural, non-linear throttle control alongside precise FFB taken directly from the tie rod, and out-of-the-box peripheral optimisation.

And with the “Factory Driver Program”, every car’s handling is painstakingly tested and approved by the world’s top racing pros to assure authentic handling precision.

This is not about driving. It’s about racing. With our streamlined approach and what we consider to be the most authentic handling model we’ve ever created, Project Motor Racing is both a nod to our genre’s rich legacy and a big step into the next era of simulation.
— Ian Bell, CEO at Straight4 Studios

If the name Ian Bell, above, seems familiar to you, that is because he was the founder of Slightly Mad Studios who created the Shift sub-series in Need for Speed, but also the Project CARS series, so the man knows his racing games.

The game is coming to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S sometime this Spring, but there is no set date yet.
