Pokemon Go City Safari is coming to Sydney this December

Pokémon Go has been going for more than 9 years now and in that time, there have been countless events around the world and while there have been a few global events Australian trainers could enjoy, there has never been their own event, until now.
On December 13 and 14, Sydney will becoming the home of Australia’s first City Safari event, letting players wander the streets of the city to capture Pokémon and of course, meet other trainers. Participating in the event will set you back $19 for a single day ticket, or $33 for two days, if you want one you can get it here, just know it is first come, first served.
So, what does your ticket give you? Ticket-holding Trainers can gear up to assist Professor Willow and Eevee in learning more about the Pokémon appearing during the event. And Eevee seems ready for a big adventure—Trainers will encounter Eevee wearing an explorer hat at the beginning of the City Safari Special Research!
In addition, Sydney’s City Safari will feature a Pokémon GO Stamp Rally across the following landmarks and iconic locations.
Darling Harbour
Sydney City Centre
Royal Botanic Gardens
Circular Quay
Milsons Point
Manly Beach
Centennial Park
Visit participating PokéStops and spin their Photo Discs to collect up to eight stamps, each awarding an encounter with Eevee wearing an explorer hat. Stamp designs change based on how long you “press,” making every stamp unique! The stamp rally can be completed once per day during event hours.
Of course, a Pokémon Go event would not be complete without letting you capture Pokémon and for the Sydney City Safari, there will be a range of them to catch.
For those who like to hatch their eggs, the following Pokémon can be hatched:
Pawniard
Oricorio
Mudbray
Komala
There is even special Eevee upgrades, for those who want to get those. The upgrade will only apply to the Eevee wearing the special hat, that you will encounter early in the event. The full details of the event can be found here.
