Plants vs Zombies 3: Welcome to Zomburbia is alive

After more than a year of silence and us calling them out in two of our developer previews for both 2023 and 2024, Electronic Arts and developer PopCap Games have finally released Plants vs Zombies 3, at least soft launched.

This is the games 3rd soft launch now, but seems to the be the final one as the team are working towards a full release later this year. Today, players in the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Australia, Philippines, and the Republic of Ireland will have early access, with more countries coming at a later date.

In the game players will find some familiar faces of the plant, zombie and human variety, but there will also be new ones to discover. Plus the game will let players revitalise the world after the zombies have been through, adding a new layer to the game.
