PAX Australia: Bethesda are set to paint the town
Bethesda announced some time ago that they would be at PAX Australia 2023, but there was no word on what they were bringing to the show, until now.
Like in years past they won’t have their games in a booth, they will be elsewhere, but rather the company that creates worlds for people to inhabit, will be hosting lots of community focused events.
“At Bethesda we’re immensely proud to have such dedicated communities for our games in Australia, fans who have joined us in countless adventures through our game worlds for decades. We couldn’t be more thrilled to pull together these community focussed events for our passionate fans during one of the best weeks of the year for gamers in Australia.”
Here is everything that they have going on across the show weekend.
Elder Scrolls Online - PAX Australia Community Party
Thursday October 5th - 6pm @ Cargo Hall
The first event of the show is not actually at the show, but rather the night before. For a few hours on Thursday October 5th, starting at 6pm, Elder Scrolls Online fans can come together to celebrate the game and the adventures they have within.
ESO Creative Director, Rich Lambert will also be at the event, giving players a chance to chat with the man who brings the experience people love to life. Entry is free, but it does require a ticket, which you can get here, but it is a first come first served scenario.
Fireside Chat with Bethesda
Sunday October 7th - 2pm @ PAX Quokka Theatre
For those who want to learn more about the worlds of Bethesda, ESO Creative Director, Rich Lambert and Hi-Fi RUSH Director, John Johanas will be presenting a panel. Entry will be open to all PAX attendees with a valid badge, but seating will be limited, so those who want to get in, should line up early.
Brushes & Brews with Bethesda
PAX Aus Weekend - Times Vary
For those who want to step away from the digital and embrace the worlds in a more unique way, the Brushes & Brews with Bethesda event maybe for you. Tickets for this are required and are free, you can get yours here.
But what does this event contain? Those who sign up will be given a paintbrush and will be instructed by a professional artists, to help bring their selected game to life. Those games being Starfield, The Elder Scrolls Online, Hi-Fi RUSH, and Fallout 76.
There are different times on each day for different games, with light refreshments included. Here is the line up for each day.

Again you need a ticket to take part, so turning up and expecting to get in is not likely to happen.
But what about the games, I hear you ask. Well hardware makers often like to put Bethesda games on some of their machines, so that might happen, but right now the only confirmed showing will be that of Hi-Fi Rush at the Yamaha Music Australia booth.
Designed to showcase just how integral sound is to the gaming experience while offering up a brand-new immersive audio solution, the interactive Hi-Fi Rush / True X demonstration will be playable on Xbox Series X all weekend
