PAX Australia 2021 has been cancelled

With the ever-changing landscape of events in Australia, due to the on-going pandemic, the hope of PAX Australia running as a normal, in-person event was hopeful at best, but sadly today those hopes have been cancelled, as the show will no longer go ahead this year.

The PAX Aus team has made the difficult decision to cancel PAX Aus 2021.At the start of the year, the team was optimistic that we’d all be able to come together in person this October, but due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19 in Australia, this is no longer possible. PAX Aus will return to Melbourne as a physical event in 2022.

The team has announced that they will still be working to bring the PAX community together with PAX Aus Online, taking place October 8-10. More details will be announced in the near future.

What does this mean for those who have already bought tickets, as per the original plan that was announced when tickets first went on sale, a full refund will be provided.

All PAX Aus 2021 ticket purchasers are entitled to a full refund and purchasers will receive information about that refund within the next seven days.

So while it is sad news, some sort of online event is likely to keep things going, but hey, at least the show will be back next year,.
