One Piece Odyssey gets a release date, but just misses their 2022 release

Overnight, during a special Tokyo Game Show showcase, Bandai Namco announced the release date for One Piece Odyssey and sadly, unlike they had planned they are not releasing the game in 2022. However they got close, as the game will launch on January 13th, check out the new trailer for the game below.

The game transports the Straw Hats to a mysterious new island where they embark on quests, uncover mysteries of the island and fight powerful enemies and bosses in exciting turn-based battles. In the game, players take on the role of nine of their favorite pirates, playing as Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky, and Brook. The game is introducing a new chapter for these notorious pirates, with original story and new characters developed under the guiding hand of series creator Eiichiro Oda.
