Octopath Traveler 0 scores a demo, with progress transferring over
In the recent State of Play Japan, Square Enix revealed a new trailer for Octopath Traveler 0, which provides insight into the story, but they also revealed a demo was coming for the game. Check out the new trailer below.
The demo is available now on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. What makes the demo worth playing, if you plan on picking up the full game, is that progress will carry across.
In the demo, players can experience the entire first chapter of multiple story arcs, or three hours of gameplay, whichever comes first. After that, the demo is likely to end, but Square Enix did not say for sure that you could not play it again. The progress you make in the demo will also carry over to the full game.
