Need for Speed Unbound is bringing more challenges and cops to players with its new update

Called Volume 2, what the update lacks in a creative name, it more than makes up for in content. The first major update for Need for Speed Unbound delivers a wealth of new challenges, modes and more, check out the trailer to get an idea of what is instore.

One of the big new additions to the game will be the ability to take the police chases online with your mates. Working together you can trigger the event and then have your friends try to keep the cops off you, long enough to earn some big bank.

There are other new ways to play, as the update will bring 40 new daily challenges and 15 new regular ones. But wait, there’s more as the update also includes:

  • 30 hot laps related activities

  • 4 new Endurance events

  • 2 new Rumble Playlists

  • 2 new Race Playlists

  • and a refresh of the existing playlist

For those who want something new to ride, the game has you covered, with three new rides on the way, though only details exist for two right now. The first is the Lotus Emira Balmain Edition 2021 and sports a black and yellow paint job, this ride will be available to all. Finally there will be all new rewards to discover, new effects, stickers, poses and more.

The team have also confirmed that the update will bring UI changes and gameplay improvements, but there is no word yet on what they mean.
