Mortal Kombat II drops its first trailer and a lot of character posters
Warner Bros. have released a new trailer for Mortal Kombat II, well two trailers the normal version below and the Red Band one here and given its Mortal Kombat, the red in it means blood.
In the sequel, champions from across the realm are pitted against one another in the ultimate, no-holds barred, gory battle to defeat the dark rule of Shao Kahn that threatens the very existence of the Earthrealm and its defenders.
Karl Urban stars as Johnny Cage, alongside Adeline Rudolph, Jessica McNamee, Josh Lawson, Ludi Lin, Mehcad Brooks, Tati Gabrielle, Lewis Tan, Damon Herriman, with Chin Han, Tadanobu Asano as Lord Raiden, Joe Taslim as Bi-Han, and Hiroyuki Sanada as Hanzo Hasashi and Scorpion.
In a fun move, what I assume has to be all the fighters, got a character poster, there are 16 of them and you can see them all below.
The movie will release into Australian cinemas on October 23rd, so there are still a few months to go.
