Midnight Suns will have a big day next week, with the final DLC and two more platforms landing on the same day

2K and developer Firaxis have announced a few updates for Marvel’s Midnight Suns, the first is that the fourth piece of DLC ‘Blood Storm’ for the season pass, will arrive on May 11. The second piece of news is that the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 editions of the game will arrive the same day and the final piece of news is that the Switch release will never arrive.

The first part is Blood Storm, the fourth expansion for the game that adds Storm to the mix and three new story missions, a new upgrade for the Abbey, and a selection of new skins and outfits for the hero. She will be available to all season pass owners or to buy stand alone.

The second piece of news is that the game will finally come to last-gen consoles, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on May 11th as a digital only release.

The game will be available alongside all the DLC for the game, that means The Good, the Bad, and the Undead; Redemption; The Hunger; and Blood Storm. They can be obtained inside the legendary edition or bought on their own.

The final bit of news is that the Switch version is dead and unlike Hunter, will not rise again. These are the exact words on the cancelation.

The Nintendo Switch version of Marvel's Midnight Suns will no longer be offered as part of updated plans.

Not a lot of information to go on, but its likely due to the size and scope of the game, as there is a lot of content in it, the Switch likely couldn’t handle it in a way that made the game fun to play.
