Marvel and DC are teaming up again with a new Superman & Spider-Man series

We already shared the Marvel led covers for the upcoming Superman & Spider-Man crossover, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the original crossover and now we have the DC covers.

DC's one-shot is headlined by the lead story "Truth, Justice, and Great Responsibility" from Mark Waid and Jorge Jiménez, in which intrepid newshounds Clark Kent and Peter Parker uncover a conspiracy that pulls Superman and Spider-Man into a universe-spanning threat involving Brainiac and Doctor Octopus. Jiménez has also created a new pin-up paying homage to Ross Andru’s iconic back-cover illustration from Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man, which will appear as an interior page.

Alongside the main story, Superman/Spider-Man #1 features an all-star line-up of bonus tales by Tom King and Jim Lee; Matt Fraction and Steve Lieber; Sean Murphy; Gail Simone and Belén Ortega; Christopher Priest and Daniel Sampere; Greg Rucka and Nicola Scott; Jeff Lemire and Rafa Sandoval; and more, making DC’s Superman/Spider-Man #1 one of the most creator-packed releases of the year.

Following the initial reveal of Superman/Spider-Man #1 variants by Daniel Sampere and Tomeu Morey; Jim Lee, Scott Williams, and Alex Sinclair; Stanley “Artgerm” Lau; Rafael Albuquerque; Dave Johnson; David Nakayama; Gabriele Dell’Otto; Mikel Janín; David Talaski; and Clayton Crain, this latest round showcases even more of the industry’s top artistic talent.

These newly unveiled covers by Mitch Gerads; Rafa Sandoval and Ulises Arreola; J. Scott Campbell; Adam Hughes; Steve Lieber and Nathan Fairbairn; Evan “Doc” Shaner; Jeff Spokes; Chrissie Zullo-Uminga; Scott Koblish and Hi-Fi; and Jorge Jiménez and Tomeu Morey highlight the spirit of collaboration behind Superman/Spider-Man #1. These covers pair heroes, supporting characters, and even a few unexpected icons from both storied universes. Among them is a Supermobile/Spider-Mobile variant by Shaner, celebrating the era when even the world’s greatest heroes occasionally needed a set of wheels…and a first look at Jimmy Olsen and Carnage!

They also released a number of covers previously, which include character combos of Silk and Supergirl, Powergirl and Blackcat and even Red Son and Spider-Hulk.
