LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy - Pieces of the Past gets its first trailer

LucasFilm have released the first trailer for the upcoming Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy - Pieces of the Past, which shows off some returning characters and a host of new ones. The series arrives on Disney+ this September 19, check out the trailer below.

The returning characters will be voiced by the existing cast, so Gaten Matarazzo as Sig Greebling, Tony Revolori as Dev Greebling and Bobby Moynihan as Jedi Bob. They are joined by newcomers to this series, Ashley Eckstein who is back as Ahsoka, something we learnt at Star Wars Celebration earlier this year.

There were a number of new additions revealed today, first up is that Alan Tudyk will be back at K-2SO, though he might be a little more evil than we are used to seeing him. The real deep cut of Jaxxon T. Tumperakki, or Jax if you prefer, will be voiced by Ben Schwartz. Beloved actress Jennifer Hale will voice a new droid Viper, with Catherine Taber back as Amidala but this time she is Pirate Queen Amidala. Star Wars Jedi fans will be happy to know that Cal Kestis is here and will be voiced by the actor Cameron Monaghan, who plays the character in the games. The new bad for this series is Solitus and will be voiced by Dan Stevens.

The rest of the cast does include a few familiar faces, but may not familiar roles. Billy Dee Williams is lending his voice, but this time as the Landolorian, alongside Grogu. The rest of the cast includes Marsai Martin as Yesi, Michael Cusack as Servo, and Ahmed Best as Darth Jar Jar, Anthony Daniels as C-3PO, Sam Witwer as Maul, Helen Sadler as Darth Rey, Phil LaMarr as Darth Kit Fisto, Matthew Wood as General Grievous, Jake Green as Greedo, Shelby Young as Princess Leia, Piotr Michael as Yoda, Matt Sloan as Jedi Vader, Trevor Devall as Jedi Master Sheev, Dee Bradley Baker as Darth Nubs, Naomi Ackie as Jedi Jannah, Kevin Michael Richardson as Jedi Jabba the Hutt, Kelly Marie Tran as Darth Rose Tico and with a special guest appearance by Mark Hamill.

Many of the new characters and returning ones can be seen in the new poster for the series. The series hits Disney+ on September 17, so a month or so from now.
