Lego Mario Kart is doing another lap, with Luigi and the Mach 8 taking the lead

They were teasing it at the start of the year and now we have the full reveal of the Lego Mario Kart - Luigi & Mach 8 set, which is releasing on April 1st, with pre-orders open today.
This new set includes 2,234 pieces that bring Luigi and the Mach 8 to fans in brick form. The buildable figure features a posable head, arms and hands, seated confidently behind the wheel of the first-ever large-scale LEGO brick recreation of the Mach 8 kart.
Builders can display the kart on its stand at dynamic, race-ready angles, capturing the excitement of a Mario Kart showdown mid-drift. For added interactivity, the model can also be removed from its stand and rolled forward. Turning the steering wheel turns the front wheels, and turning the back wheels will spin the flame exhaust, allowing for a playful movement alongside static display.
If you already own the Lego Mario Kart - Mario & Standard Kart, you can enjoy having races around the home, though Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit will be less messy should you crash one of the karts.
As always, here are all the details you need to know, including a link to the Lego Store for pre-orders.
