Knockout City is getting ready to celebrate, with a lengthy free trial for all

From the time Knockout City was announced, Velan Studios said that they would offer players the chance to experience the full game, for free, when it launches and today, they have announced how long it will last.

10 days, yep 10 full days of Knockout City and as the video above explains, it isn’t just the game, but more of a party, a block party, if you will.

This Block Party will be host to a bunch of events, from matches with the devs, to talks about the game being developed, but of course, the big draw is that the game will be free to play for all. The important fact is, as Velan Studios explain, this is the full game.

This isn’t some level-capped, red-tape teaser with gated access, either. You’ll have the full game at your disposal—which is good, because you’ll want to try out all the new Contracts, Playlists, and content we’re releasing at launch without worrying about hitting an invisible barrier.

Check the below image, to see what events are coming during the Knockout City Block Party.

Anyone who does take part in the game, during that Block Party window, can score themselves the Block Party Bundle, which comes with exclusive cosmetic items and some Holobux to buy more. Once again as well, there is no in-game buys, the currency you earn, only unlocks cosmetic items. You can scope them out in the image below, or via this handy list:

  • Epic Outfit: Cyber Spike

  • Epic Hairstyle: Locked Horns

  • Epic Glasses: LED the Way

  • Epic Glider: Mach 1

  • Epic Intro Pose: Calling In Reinforcements

  • Epic KO Effect: By the Horns

  • THREE Player Icons: Bomb Ball, Pixel-Dillo, and Noodles Gone Bad

  • 500 Holobux!

Finally, if that wasn’t enough information for you, there is also the fact that a few days after launch, the game is going to enter Season 1, but there is more details that I can explain here, so hit up the official site for all those details.
