Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road has been delayed yet again

In a move that sucks, but honestly should not be surprising at this point, but Level-5 have delayed Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road once more, but this time the delay comes with a new date.

In the message below, the reason give is just more time for localising the game, including recording more voice work and honestly it is a fair reason. The game does have like 900 characters in it, so even if most of the voice work is grunts and groans, actual text speech for all those folks will take time to sort out.

Due to the content volume exceeding our initial expectations, additional time is required for voice recording, multi-language localization, and other related processes. As we work toward the final stages of development, we have decided to adjust the release date to ensure the best possible quality.

The release date of Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road has been changed from August 21, 2025, to November 13, 2025.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to all the fans who have been eagerly waiting for a long time, and truly appreciate your understanding and continued support.

While this reason for delaying the game might seem valid, this is not the first delay that the series has had, in fact this game was meant to release years ago, when it was known as Inazuma Eleven Ares. It has since picked up more platforms, namely PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series X|S and most recently Nintendo Switch 2. It has lost some though, dropping the planned mobile versions of the game.

In any event, the game is now dated to release on November 13 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
