HyperX is bringing new streaming gear to content creators

HyperX have been known to make a set of gaming headphones or a mice, even the odd keyboard, but their next wave of hardware is new for them, as they are stepping up to help out streamers of all skills.

We are excited to expand our portfolio of products and provide a more complete creator solution. The Vision S Webcam offers superb video quality and user-friendly features, and the Audio Mixer Audio Interface provides content creators with professional-grade sound. Since the listening experience for a content viewer is so important, we’ve added a volume meter to offer a quick and easy way to check input levels at any time. HyperX remains committed to enhancing the gaming and content creation experience, empowering users to unleash their full potential.

The new line up consists of two items the Audio Mixer and the Vision S. The Audio Mixer is exactly what it states, a device that will let you take in a few different sources and mix them, before outputting the now preferred audio mix to your stream.

The unit is an all-in-one device, that comes complete with a XLR input for a higher quality mic connection and support for 24-bit audio. There are three faders, with volume knobs for additional controls, but the best thing is that it does not require any additional software to use. You just need to connect it to your PC or Mac and it will detect it and then you are good to go.

The Vision S webcam sports a Sony Starvis 8mp sensor, meaning that you can capture video in 4K, thought your streaming setup may not broadcast it at that level. The camera also sports a 90 degree field of view, which should keep all your streaming antics in shot and to ensure that you are looking the best, it sports a great autofocus. There is also a magnetic camera shield for you to place over, should you want to ensure no one can see you when you don’t want them to.

The camera is out this week, but the Audio Mixer has no release date at this time. The Vision S camera has a RRP of $359. As tech specs are important, here are the details for both pieces of hardware.
