Guess who's back, as Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition is out in July

Beamdog and Aspyr have announced that after 7 years since it hit PC and 6 years since it hit consoles, the Neverwinter Nights saga is finally continuing with the reveal of Dungeons & Dragons Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition. Check out the reveal trailer for the game, which is out this July 15.

Yes, for some reason they have put Dungeons & Dragons in the name, and I know it’s part of the series, just seems weird to do it now. Beyond the name change, the release will include all the expansion, adds in crossplay for all versions of the game and of course, is making its debut on to consoles.

The three expansions included are:

  • Journey through the cursed Shadow Realm in Mask of the Betrayer as a Shard-Bearer battling an insatiable spiritual hunger.

  • Lead your shipwrecked crew through a hostile jungle in Storm of Zehir, uncovering a plot that threatens all of Faerûn.

  • Delve into the treacherous underbelly of Mysteries of Westgate, where secrets and danger lurk around every corner.

Finally, players will be able to dive into a world of community-created content with full Steam Workshop integration. Discover and download new adventures, modules, and more to expand your Neverwinter Nights 2 experience.

The game is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch on July 15.
