Guardians of the Galaxy gets a new trailer, highlighting Lady Hellbender

Square Enix have released a new video from the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy game, which is actually a cut-scene from the game, that shows the teams first meeting with Lady Hellbender, check it out.

In addition to that, there is a second version of the same video, in which Cinematics & Animation Director at Eidos Montreal Darryl Purdy talks about what is going on.

Darryl Purdy says: “Lady Hellbender is a fan-favorite character from Marvel’s recent comic lore, and we were keen to ensure her place in our Guardians universe reflects the complex personality, depth, and nature fans expect to see. And with humour instilled in every aspect of our game, this gave us an opportunity to flip expectations with the story and introduce an unexpected dynamic between her and a certain Destroyer.”

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC digitally on October 26, 2021. It is noted that Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: Cloud Version for Nintendo Switch also coming to select regions October 26, but Australia is almost certain to not get that one.
