Grand Theft Auto is bringing back the classics as part of The Trilogy collection

After much speculation, Rockstar have announced that Grand Theft Auto is returning to PC and consoles and debuting for the first time on a Nintendo home console, all part of the collection, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy.

The collection will feature Grand Theft Auto 3, Grand Theft Auto Vice City and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and while there are not any specific details right now, but the developers have said the following:

The Definitive Edition will feature across-the-board upgrades including graphical improvements and modern gameplay enhancements for all three titles, while still maintaining the classic look and feel of the originals.

One sad note, depending on your point of view of course, is that all current digital releases of the games are being pulled from sale, though if you own them, you can still download them at anytime.

When the collection does release, it will land on PC, Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, with mobile fans getting into the action in early 2022
