Ghost of Tsushima on PC scores Trophies, cross-play and more

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is launching on PC next month, May 16 to be exact and we have new details for this port of the beloved PlayStation title.

As this is the Director’s Cut of the game, it includes the base game, expansion and the Legends mode and it is that last mode that contains the interesting part, as it will support cross-play to the PlayStation console version. That means that once the PC version is live, there will be players on it, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. In order to access cross-play, you will need a PlayStation Network account and you need to sign in on the PC release.

Which brings us to highlight number 2, the game will support a new PlayStation PC overlay on both Steam and Epic Game Store versions. This new overlay includes your Friends list, Trophies, Settings, and your Profile.

With this new PlayStation Overlay, there will also now be Trophies for the game, in addition to the existing PC store achievements. Perhaps the best news, if you have played the game on PlayStation, but never finished it or missed a trophy or two, signing into your PlayStation account will share your trophy progress, so you won’t have to redo ones you previously unlocked.

Finally, as this is a PC port it means that it is fully optimised for ultra-wide monitors, with support for 21:9 and 32:9 resolutions. Even 48:9 resolutions and triple monitor set-ups are supported. In addition, players can also take advantage of NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3, or Intel XeSS, or further enhance image quality with NVIDIA DLAA or AMD FSR 3 Native AA, as long as you have the right equipment.

To ensure your rig is set up correctly, they have also released the full specs, which you can check out.
