Get ready to explore some Chinese myths with the second expansion for Immortals Fenyx Rising

After releasing the first expansion for Immortals Fenyx Rising earlier this year, Ubisoft went a bit silent on the second one, Myths of the Eastern Realm, until overnight, when they released a trailer, but then somehow managed to release the expansion as well.

Led by Ubisoft Chengdu and based loosely on a myth known as “Nuwa Mends the Heavens,” the new adventure casts players as Ku, a new hero battling to help the goddess Nuwa save reality from a catastrophe that has torn the sky and left humanity frozen in place.

Set in a new open world above the clouds, Ku’s journey is filled with jagged cliffs to climb and classical Chinese architecture to explore. With artificial wings and a new fighting style inspired by Chinese martial arts, Ku can wield a range of devastating godly powers – as well as a sword, axe, and bow – to thrash a broad assortment of new mythological monsters and other foes on the ground and in the air. The DLC also introduces an array of new puzzle elements, including redirectable windmills, weighted blocks that change their size and mass when hit, and floating, rideable clouds.

Anyone who owns the season pass will get access to this as part of it and if you don’t you can buy it on its own.
