Forza Horizon 6 is real and racing across Japan in 2026

As expected, Xbox used their recent Tokyo Game Show Broadcast to reveal that Forza Horizon 6 was happening and would be set in Japan, confirming one of the worst kept secrets in gaming. Check out the teaser trailer for the game below.

We did mean teaser trailer as all it showed was a pan across the licences from the past 5 games before revealing Mt Fuji. The Xbox Wire has an interview with Art Director, Don Arceta and Cultural Consultant, Kyoko Yamashita, where they reveal a few things, but there is no gameplay.

Finally, buried down the bottom of the post, like its meant to be a mystery of embarrassing reveal, the game is launching first on Xbox and PC in 2026, and confirms PlayStation 5 in the post-launch plans. They have also said more will be revealed early next year, maybe during the Xbox Developer Direct?
