Fortnite returns to phones, thanks to Xbox Cloud Gaming

Xbox Cloud Gaming has been getting traction over the past 12 months and now it has gained a big game, Fortnite and the best news, you don’t need to be a paid member to Xbox Ultimate to make use of it.

As long as you create a Microsoft account, or log in to an existing one, you can stream Fortnite for free on any supported device, so iPhone, iPad, Android phone and tablet and even Windows PC, without the need to download the game, which is not possible on some of those these days.

You can play the game on your phone with touch controls, or you can connect a controller and play that way. This marks the first game that is free-to-play for Xbox Cloud Gaming, as all other games require a monthly subscription to access.
