Fallout 76 is gearing up for its next big update and new Expeditions in the years to come
Despite the rocky start of Fallout 76, over the past few years it has grown from strength to strength and with the Brotherhood of Steel storyline complete, it is time to look towards what is coming next.
On July 7, the next chapter of the game will kick off, once you arrive back at Fort Atlas, only to discover the tensions between Paladin Rahmani and Knight Shin have reached a boiling point. But that is not all that awaits, because after swarms of Super Mutants start to appear and people are reported missing, questions will be raised, like how will you guide the Brotherhood?
The Steel Reign update will offer up the following:
New Questline – Choose what direction the Brotherhood of Steel will take and solve the mysteries behind the appearance of the Super Mutants
New Locations and Gear – Unlock unique gear from the Brotherhood’s arsenal and explore new locations as you uncover what's been happening in Appalachia
Season 5 Scoreboard – K.D. Inkwell is back in Escape from the 42nd Century! Rank up to unlock new rewards including C.A.M.P. items, cosmetics, and more. Beginning July 7
Legendary Upgrades – Put those Legendary Modules to work and create your own 1, 2, & 3-star legendary items, right from the comfort of your own C.A.M.P.
Steel Reign could have been all they showed off, but there was more, because in 2022 you will leave Appalachia and head out on Expeditions, the first of which will take you to The Pitt, formally known as Pittsburgh, check out the teaser for that below.
