Everything revealed during the December Indie World event
Another Indie World event has come and gone and with it, is a host of game reveals, updates and shadow drops (more on those in another post). Here though is everything else that was shown off, the list is in release date order, or release window as some of them happen to be, but what can you do.
Each game has a few screens and a trailer to go along with it, so enjoy, of course if you want to watch the entire show, you can do that here.
Baby Storm - January 21, 2022
Your mission is to take care of adorable (and sometimes troublemaking) kids in a kindergarten. You are equipped with toys for playtime, food for mealtime, wipes, and diapers for you-know-what time, and even a nifty radio-controlled vacuum robot to help you with cleaning. If you’re alone in this task, there are useful power-ups: a Teleporter that lets you move around quickly, and Maracas to distract the kids when they are fighting. Make sure to complete the babies’ desires on time to avoid making them cry which will reset your score combo! A quick tip: these kids might act tough, but they just need a bit of love and hugs. Just steer clear of the ones who bite!

Aliisha – The Oblivion of Twin Goddesses - Autumn 2022
In this puzzle game, cooperation is key to safely navigating a deserted temple. Whether you undertake a solo outing or you explore the game as a two-player co-op journey with a friend, you’ll need twin sisters Aisha and Lisha to work together by exchanging clues and operating devices that can help you go deeper inside the temple. But be careful – the temple is filled with all sorts of menacing monsters and treacherous traps, some of which can trigger different endings.
Endling – Extinction is Forever - Autumn 2022

River City Girls 2 - Winter 2022
WayForward is back with the sequel to the acclaimed beat-’em-up River City Girls. There’s trouble once again in River City, with higher stakes, meaner streets and even more over-the-top humor. Take control of one of six characters, including returning powerhouses Kyoko and Misako. River City Girls 2 features new moves, enemies, areas and items … not to mention branching paths, as well as a new soundtrack by the first game’s composer Megan McDuffee. GRIME - Winter 2022
