Dreamhack Melbourne is just a week away, are you ready?

In less than 7 days, Dreamhack Melbourne will kick off once again, bringing gaming, cosplay, esports and more to all its attendees.

Something all-new for this year is the Hololive Concert, the first time its ever being hosted in Australia, you can learn more about that, including how to watch if you are not at the show, by clicking here.

One of the elements to get plus sized in 2024 is the Artists Alley, a place where you can find art created by Australiana, New Zealand and International artists. Artist Alley celebrates self-authored art (No AI art allowed), offering the perfect opportunity for attendees to immerse themselves in the world of gaming & pop culture art, while supporting over 100 local artists that will be participating.

DreamHack Melbourne 2024 is Australia’s biggest DreamHack yet, with more things to do and more fans raring to attend the festival than ever before. We’ve doubled the number of artists in the Artist Alley, tripled the size of our tabletop area & added new activities, and dotted a bunch more free-play games all around the festival. The team has doubled down on what made last year’s event so special, making DreamHack Melbourne amazing value for attendees, whether you grab a one day pass for $45 or spend the whole three days with us for just $99.

This year for the first time, DreamHack Melbourne will include a new Extreme Cosplay Gathering Qualifier pathway to the international Extreme Cosplay Gathering competition hosted in Europe. Canadian cosplay star and popular cosplay tutorial author, Kinpatsu Cosplay, will also attend the festival as an official cosplay judge, and will be hosting a cosplay panel on Friday April 26. There will be more than $30,000 worth of prizes across the three days for the Cosplay events.

If you are a mobile gamer or more specifically a Pokémon Go player, then be sure to check out the booth for the game, along with official PokéStops.

For those who want to game on a bigger screen, the BYOC LAN is taking place once again. This is a great opportunity for gamers to test their mettle over three days of competitive gaming across fourteen fan-favourite games, including Rocket League, Counter-Strike 2, Halo, and Fall Guys.

If those games inspire you, then checking out the Counter-Strike 2 & League of Legends tournaments played live on stage, to see what folks who truly know their games can do.

Tickets for the show can be bought here, with a limited number of the three day tickets still available.
