Dragon's Dogma 2 is in development and that is all we know

As promised Capcom hosted a stream for Dragon’s Dogma, but unlike what many were expecting, it wasn’t loaded with game announcements, just the one in fact.

Yes, Hideaki Itsuno confirmed that he is directing Dragon’s Dogma 2 and for now all we have is a logo, which is below.

The rest of the video, or I should say everything preceding the announcement, was more about the reasons why Itsuno-san wanted to create the game in the first place, from his love of old school pen and paper RPG’s to modern games, it is worth watching, just to learn all about that.

As for details on Dragon’s Dogma 2, they are beyond scarce, all we know for now is that the game is going to use the RE Engine, which is Capcom’s internally created game engine and the powers their other series, like Resident Evil, Monster Hunter and more. There is no release date or platforms for it yet.
