Diablo IV gains a new playable class, in the Rogue

During the opening ceremonies of Blizzconline, Blizzard revealed the next playable class for Diablo IV, the rogue, making a return for the first time in a number of years, check out the trailer below.

The Barbarian embodies brute strength, the Sorceress arcane knowledge, the Druid ferocious savagery, and now the Rogue has arrived to lay waste to the forces of Hell through unparalleled versatility. Rogue players can choose from a variety of ways to stab, shoot, and trap their enemies and can enhance their combat through poisons, shadow magic, and specialized techniques. This class is not just for fans of the original Rogue—Assassin and Demon Hunter players will notice some of our favourite tricks of the trade have come back as well.

The Rogue is an adaptable, agile warrior who can specialize in ranged or close quarters combat. She can best any foe with her imbued weapons, perform powerful combo attacks, and can augment her arsenal with deadly poisons and shadow magic to slay demons with impunity.

The game is still on the way, but there is no word on a release date just yet, there is also no word on if the game is coming to other platforms, outside of PC.
