Death is not the end as Blasphemous 2 will release this August
Team17 and developer The Game Kitchen have announced that Blasphemous 2 will release onto all its announced platforms on August 24th, giving players another taste of a world that is bound to the endless cycle of life, death, and resurrection.
The Miracle has returned, the birth of a prophetic new miracle child has been foretold, and it once again falls to The Penitent One to explore a strange world, defeat grotesque monstrosities, and give everything to stop the prophecy from coming to pass.
Featuring three unique weapons to acquire and master, and an enhanced skillset to choose from, players will have to use these new tools to survive long enough to deliver judgment to all who stand in their way. As they make their way towards the inevitable final confrontation, they’ll pick up pieces of scattered lore, and unpick long forgotten secrets of a new and punishing world as they cheat death time and time again.
New locations, weapons and combos await when Blasphemous 2 arrives on August 24th for Switch, PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S
