Cricket 22 sees a slight delay, in order to avoid any extra Paine

Game delays are not uncommon, they happen all the time and for various reasons, but a last minute delay due to one of the cover athletes being involved in a scandal is a new one for me.

Cricket 22 was due out next week, but with the controversy surrounding Tim Paine, it seems that either Big Ant Studios, Nacon or Cricket Australia, or some combination of them, decided delaying the game was the best option, to give the studio time to make some needed adjustments.

This only impacts the platforms getting the game this year, Switch owners are still waiting for their early 2022 release.
