Cotton Fantasy is bringing a new look for this classic series
The Cotton series is one that I honestly have no remembrance of and given that the series is now 30 years old, that is saying something. Last year saw Inin Games release both Panorama Cotton and Cotton 100% to both Switch and PlayStation 4 owners and now they are back with an all new entry for the series, Cotton Fantasy.
Developed by the same studio behind Umihara Kawase, Studio Saizensen Ltd and Success, this brand-new entry to the Cotton series is now making its way to the West, having released in Japan last December.
But what is this new game all about, well something sinister is happening, the willows are vanishing from Fairyland and the Fairy Queen entrusts Silk with solving the case. For a promised lifetime all-you-can-eat supply of tasty willows, the little witch Nata de Cotton is willing to help her old friend out and embark on another adventure together. Who could be behind this devious ploy?
The game is launching soon, the developers are saying Q1 2022, which is anytime up to the end of March, though a more firm date should come soon. Regardless of the date, when it launches it will hit Switch and PlayStation 4.
