Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 details its single player offering, multiplayer still to come

After teasing it, then revealing the logo for it, Activision have finally fully unveiled Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, with a trailer that focus more on the single player content, check it out.

The campaign that players will get to experience when the game releases continues the story from the previous Modern Warfare title in 2019. But times have changed and now Task Force 141 faces its greatest threat yet — a newly aligned menace with deep, yet unknown, connections. The familiar heroes return and new allies are formed as the globe-trotting Campaign takes players across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Deploying alongside you are iconic squadmates: Team leader Captain John Price; seasoned sergeant Kyle “Gaz” Garrick; fan-favorite Simon “Ghost” Riley; fearless Sergeant John “Soap” MacTavish; as well as the newest team member, Colonel Alejandro Vargas, an incorruptible Tier 1 Operator and member of the Mexican Special Forces.

The game is also going to offer a new mode called Special Ops. This tactical co-op mode is designed to advance your team-building skills, and also sets the table for the near-endless hours of gameplay available in the world-class Multiplayer.

The team haven’t detailed the multiplayer yet, but they have said this:

With new ways to play and numerous gameplay innovations, including a revamped Gunsmith that offers more customization than ever before, Modern Warfare II will be ready to welcome newcomers and fierce competitors alike on day one.

It has also been confirmed that a new Warzone map is coming, but again details are scarce.
