Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles gets a behemoth of a free update

Wired Productions and developer Tomas Sala have announced that a brand new update for Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles has released. Called the Behemoth Update, it is the largest expansion to the game so far. Check out the trailer for it below.

This update is the biggest expansion yet for the city-builder set in the Ursee, and introduces a big flagship warship, espionage mechanics, new architecture, more fixes and updates for the game.

Behemoth is perhaps the last big Update of this type that can be done as the Ursee, once a lonely place, is filling up rapidly with new challenges, new buildings and features.
— Tomas Sala, the developer of Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles

As folks love a good list, here are some of the callouts of this new update:

  • Upgradable Surveyors: Surveyors now receive visual and gameplay upgrades, letting players expand and improve their faction’s influence.

  • The Behemoth Surveyor: A massive, heavily-armed flagship packed with cannons, point defences, and firepower. Once lost, it’s gone for goodraising the stakes for every battle.

  • Entagon Subterfuge Events: Deploy espionage and sabotage to speed up late-game conquests. Recruit enemy commanders, capture settlements outright, or dismantle rival defenses with the Entagon’s unique structures and schemes.

  • Arbology Towers: Plant greenery across the Ursee with Freebooter splinter-tech towers, reintroducing forests to the ocean world and expanding the lore of the ash-faced tribes.

  • Curved Wall Segments: Build more beautiful and functional defences with newly added curved wall and gate sections for every material tier.

The game is available now on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
