ASUS are bringing plenty of choice to the laptop market starting today and heading into 2022

Asus have announced that they are delivering seven new and updated model laptops, aiming for the casual user all the way up to the professional on the go.

Device availability will vary, with two models out now, two next month and the rest starting in 2022, but one of those begins at $9,999, so it will give you time to save, but lets have a look, starting with the ones available in stores today.

Zenbook Duo 14 (UX482)

The name Duo is not just a fancy brand name, it represents one of the most amazing parts of the laptop, a second display built right in. This is also not a foldable device, but rather the second screen is embedded above the keyboard, tilting up to provide access to it.

If this does look similar, Asus did launch a 15 inch model way back at the start of the year, but with all the advancements in CPU and GPU tech, this one is a more refined version. Packed inside, users will find an Intel® Core™ i7-1165G7 Processor 2.8 GHz, and up to a NVIDIA® GeForce® MX450 , 2GB GDDR6,

The larger display is a 14.0-inch, FHD (1920 x 1080) 16:9, IPS-level Panel, which supports touch, where as the second scree, known as ScreenPad Plus is a 12.65" 1920 x 515 and again also supports touch. The ScreenPad Plus also has as second benefit, when you have it up, that acts as a vent, letting the warm air push out from it, rather than onto your lap or desk.

Pricing for this one begins at $2,999 and you can discover the full tech specs for it here.

Zenbook Pro Duo 15 OLED (UX582)

Much like the Duo above, this one feature almost identical specs, but has a few core differences, the OLED display being one such one, but this one also offers a boost in performance across the board.

As this is the Pro model, you can get them with either an Intel® Core™ i9-10980HK Processor 2.4 GHz or the Intel® Core™ i7-10870H Processor 2.2 GHz, but the big boost comes across with the GPU. The laptop comes with a NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX™ 3070 Laptop GPU, with 8GB GDDR6 for those intense applications.

The screens on the Pro model have also gotten a boost, with the main display now a 15.6-inch, 4K (3840 x 2160), where as the ScreenPad™ Plus is now a 14" 3840 x 1100 and also 4K.

With all that power comes a big price jump, with the price starting at $4,499, the full tech specs can be found here.

Vivobook Pro 15 OLED (M3500)

Stepping away from the dual-screen design the Vivobook range is the workhorse of Asus, the Pro 15 OLED is just what the name suggests, Pro level performance, with a 15inch OLED display.

Powered by the latest AMD Ryzen™ 9 5900HX Mobile Processor with NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX™ 3050 graphics, Harman Kardon-certified audio and a dual-fan cooling system, this one has the power to keep up with your daily use.

Something to note is that this model only comes with AMD Ryzen CPU’s and while it does offer the basic AMD Radeon GPU as part of that, you can supplement it with a NVIDA GeForce® RTX 3050 Laptop GPU.

As the workhorse of the Asus line, this one starts at $1,499 and is coming into stores next month, the full tech specs can be found here.

Vivobook 15 Pro OLED (K3500)

This one is real easy to talk about, because it is 99% the same as the M3500 model above, just with only an Intel CPU, instead of the AMD. The K3500 model comes with an Intel® Core™ i7-11370H Processor 3.3 GHz, but the screen size, GPU offers, storage and all the rest are identical, even the case between the two is the same, the only difference is that CPU.

This will be available in December, priced at $1,499. Tech specs can be found here.

Vivobook Pro 16X OLED (M7600)

With the Pro 16X OLED, we are starting to get into the more higher end of the Vivobook line, but still at a price point many folks can afford. As the name suggests this one comes with a 16inch display, but the big addition is this one comes with the Asus DialPad.

As you can see in the image above, located on the track pad is a series of wheels, this is the DialPad. This unique add-on gives you precise and intuitive control of your creative tools, so you can adjust your colours or opacity in Photoshop, scroll through a timeline while editing videos and more.

As far as internals go, there are a few options, you can get the average but still useful Intel® Core™ i5-11300H Processor 3.1 GHz, the slightly better Intel® Core™ i7-11370H Processor 3.3 GHz or you can opt for something different and use an AMD Ryzen™ 9 5900HX Mobile Processor. Regardless of the CPU you choose, you will get a NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX™ 3050 Laptop GPU for your video needs.

Availability of this one is January next year and the price starts at $2,499. The tech specs for this machine can be found here.

ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED (H5600)

The ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED is simply the best laptop made by Asus, for those who are creators on the go. It pushes every boundary to give you the effortless creative experience you’ve always wanted, but never thought was possible.

On the CPU side, it can support up to an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX and for the GPU offering a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Studio edition, along with 64gb of DDR4 ram. But as you might notice in the picture above, it has a dial. This is the Asus Dial (original name to be sure) but it does exactly what the DialPad above does, just now as a physical device.

There is no exact release window for this one, just 2022, but the price is known, the base model will start at $4,399 and go up from there, you can see more details here.

ProArt Studiobook Pro 16 OLED (W7600)

Here we are, the granddaddy of creator laptops, the ProArt Studiobook Pro 16 OLED comes with, as the name provides, a 16inch 4K OLED display, but is powered by a NVIDA RTX A5000 GPU, making this one of the NVIDIA Studio machines, the type you might use to create 3d animations on the go.

The screen is not just 4K, it is also HDR enabled, with a 0.2 response time and a 16:10 aspect ratio, all that allows for you to make use of the Intel Xeon W-11955m CPU, 64gb of DDR4 memory, and 4tb of storage.

Much like the one above, there is no date outside of 2022 for this one, but for price - you had best be sitting down, it starts at (starts) $9,999 and while tech specs are not released, you can learn more here.
