A new State of Play is coming this Friday

PlayStation hosted a few game specific State of Plays in 2020, but they are following Nintendo and doing a general showcase this Friday, at 9am AEDT.

From the official reveal of it comes this:

The show is clocking it at 30 minutes or so, give or take. Can’t wait to hear what you think! And a quick note: there won’t be PlayStation hardware or business-focused updates in this show. We’re focusing on great games set to come out in the months ahead.

So that newly confirmed PlayStation 5 VR won’t show up, but it also means that new controller colours are also unlikely.

These are the times you need, so you can enjoy the stream:

  • AEDT - Melbourne, Sydney, Hobart - 9:00am

  • AEST - Brisbane - 8:00am

  • ACST - Darwin - 7:30am

  • ACDT - Adelaide - 8:30am

  • AWST - Perth - 6:00am

You can watch the stream via YouTube or Twitch, let’s just hope that the latter doesn’t remove any audio from the event.
