Wonder Woman is finally getting her first stand-alone video game

Over the years there have been dozens of Batman games, some Superman games, even Flash has had a few and of course, plenty of Lego games, but DC and Warner Bros Games have announced that Wonder Woman will finally get her own standalone videogame, we are ignoring that mobile thing from a few years ago.

What is more interesting is that the game is being created by Monolith Productions, the studio behind F.E.A.R and more recently the Middle-earth series, the latter of which saw the last one released in 2017.

We don’t know much about this new game, just that it will be a single player adventure, set within an open-world and tell an original story for the Amazonian warrior. The tale will have Diana of Themyscira take part in a fight that will aim to unite both her Amazon family and the humans from the modern world.

Interestingly, the Nemesis system from Middle-earth: Shadow of War will be making an appearance in this new game, allow players to forge deep connections with both enemies and allies, as they progress from a heroic fighter into a proven leader.

We don’t know platforms or release dates for it, in fact the reveal trailer, which you can see below, barely contains anything of real interest, still the studio has the pedigree to make a kick-ass title, so fingers crossed.
