Wargroove is ready to fight on with Double Trouble coming in February

Chucklefish, the studio behind the only modern way to play Advanced Wars have announced that Wargroove, their smash hit title will be getting free DLC on February 6.

Called Double Trouble the free content update will add a new co-op enabled campaign, new Commanders, public & private multiplayer lobbies, a whole suite of editor tool updates, balance changes and more.

As the name implies Double Trouble was designed with co-op play in mind, this expansion adds a new story campaign that introduces Outlaw Commanders; the mighty Wulfar, troublemaker twins Errol and Orla, as well as the maleficent Vesper. The co-op campaign can be played via couch co-op, online co-op or solo if you want, so just find the way that works for you.

In addition to that, two new classes are being added to the game, Thieves and Riflemen! Take tactical advantage of these new recruits, sending forth your Thief to ransack enemy gold and carefully position your Rifleman to take out enemy troops.

When the DLC is released, the game will also get an update that will see adjustments made to the game, but also the editor, the exact details will be made available when it goes live I would imagine.
